Challenge Because they had two different channels, PFU's main challenge was ensuring that there was only one single source of the truth. The main goal was to ensure that their two different partner types – distributors and resellers, as well as software developers from the Fujitsu consultancy arm – were getting accurate and up-to-date information on all PFU products. They also wanted to be able to offer promotions, discounts, rewards and incentives, as well as training for partners. To do all of this, they used a custom-built legacy platform that made all of these processes inefficient and time-consuming to manage. These inefficiencies made it difficult for partners to use the platform – especially because they were unable to see the benefits – and partner engagement was consequently very low.
