What is a learning management system (LMS)?
A learning management system, or LMS, is a digital platform that allows you to create, manage, and deliver educational content. For partnership professionals, it’s a valuable tool that ensures your partners have the knowledge you need to effectively sell your products or services.
For example, a partner manager at a SaaS organization could use an LMS to create a personalized, on-demand training program for their partners. There would be multiple training courses and paths, educating different types of partners on the features and benefits of their software. The partners would be able to access the training at their convenience during the onboarding process, learning at their own pace.
An LMS is versatile. It can host a variety of content types, from text and video to interactive quizzes. You can also monitor training progress and common mistakes, identifying any gaps in knowledge that you should address. Finally, as your channel program grows, you can easily add new users to the LMS and update your training content as needed.
By providing your channel partners with the knowledge they need with an LMS, you’re empowering them to effectively represent your brand and better sell your products or services. The result? More successful partnerships and a stronger bottom line.
