The Limits of Going It Alone 

For most of the past two decades, cybersecurity strategy has been built around the idea of the perimeter. Organizations invested heavily in technologies designed to keep attackers out, operating under the assumption that security could be achieved by strengthening individual defenses. While those investments remain important, the nature of today's threat landscape is exposing the limitations of an approach centered on isolated protection.

As attacks continue to expose weaknesses across interconnected environments, organizations are increasingly recognizing that cybersecurity resilience depends on collaboration across the broader ecosystem. 

As threats become more interconnected, defense must become more interconnected as well. The concept of collective defense, once discussed primarily within government and intelligence communities, is rapidly becoming a commercial imperative.
